The special 1.5° base paired with the ball bearing guide system (spring) lets you trim edges flush without wrecking the laminated surface. It comes with a universal parallel side fence for the MFK 700/MFKC 700/OF 1010, perfect for rebating and grooving.
The router table's just right for flush trimming solid wood edges up to 15 mm wide. The base is tilted up by 1.5° to keep the surface safe from any damage. That little angle on the router tool stops the surface from getting routed by mistake.
The contact spring sorts out any bumps, so mistakes don’t get passed on to the cutter and then to the edge of the workpiece. When you’re working with closed surfaces, you can swap the contact spring for a follower in a roll.
With the central clamp and tool-free adjustable guiding jaws, the Parallel side fence is good to go in no time. The millimetre-precise fine adjustment gives you top-notch accuracy for grooving or rebating.
