When seven creative and talented people from different countries come together - plus high-quality Festool tools and a lot of passion - something very special is created. This was also the case at our first Festool & Friends Build-Off event, which took place in Reutlingen in July 2025. The task was to design and build a fully functional children's workbench within three days. The participants didn't know what to expect beforehand - and were all the more motivated to let off steam creatively and with their craftsmanship.
Each of the seven content creators contributed their own strengths, ideas and individual style. The result was a unique modular children's workbench that can be customised to suit both young and older children.

Concentrated creativity meets craftsmanship
The children's workbench impresses with its well thought-out design and offers a generous work surface with clamping devices, integrated tools and mobile modules on castors. A small board invites children to draw and sketch - ideal for creative hands. A special highlight is the green Rear wall with a tree motif, which gives the piece of furniture a playful and symbolic character.The result impressively shows how passion, teamwork and high-quality tools can create a functional and inspiring product for children.
