Versatility meets compactness:
The all-rounder with a chiselling function
Festool’s new KHC-S 18 cordless combination hammer expands the 18-volt range with a tool specifically designed for installation work. It combines a compact design, high working speed and great flexibility in a well-thought-out system.
Weighing just 1.83 kg (excluding accessories), with an SDS-Plus chuck and an ergonomic design, it is ideal for confined workspaces and overhead work. An integrated LED ensures good visibility, whilst a scaffolding hook allows for convenient storage. The KHC-S 18 offers four functions: hammer drilling, non-impact drilling, chiselling and chisel adjustment. With an impact energy of 1.7 joules, it is suitable for drilling up to 12 mm in concrete as well as for light chiselling work, such as removing tiles. The brushless EC-TEC motor ensures consistent performance and a long service life. This means the tool covers a wide range of applications across various trades. For clean working, the KHC-S 18 can be used with a drilling dust nozzle or an extraction system (for chiselling, only with a dust extraction system). When used with Bluetooth® battery packs, a Festool mobile dust extraction unit starts automatically – a noticeable gain in efficiency. The electronic KickbackStop further enhances safety by preventing sudden twisting if the drill bit becomes jammed. As the successor to the BHC 18, the KHC-S 18 expands the range to include a chiselling function and enhanced safety. It will be available from 7 September 2026 in two versions; the new Tabless TBX 4 battery pack is recommended.
