With the new TSC 55 KS cordless plunge saw, the company is once again setting new standards - especially for professional users who want to work safely, precisely and on the move. Whether on the construction site or in the workshop: The TSC 55 KS impresses with its compact design, powerful performance and innovative safety functions.

Lightweight, compact and ready for immediate use

The TSC 55 KS is designed for maximum mobility. Thanks to its compact design and low weight, it fits perfectly in the hand and is immediately ready for use - with just one battery pack. The slim design enables precise cuts directly on the wall and without overhang on the guide rail. One battery pack on the saw, the second on the charger: this makes uninterrupted work standard.

Powerful performance and maximum endurance

Inside the TSC 55 KS, a brushless EC-TEC motor with 5,200 rpm¹ in combination with intelligent power electronics and the 8.0 Ah Li-HighPower battery pack ensure impressive cutting performance. The specially developed 1.6 mm thin-cutting saw blades enable energy-saving work, extend the battery life and deliver clean cutting results - ideal for demanding applications in timber construction and interior fittings.

Safety thanks to KickbackStop

Safety is a central element of the new cordless plunge-cut saw. The new, sensor-barred KickbackStop reacts at lightning speed and stops the saw blade in the event of a kickback - faster than the blink of an eye. This not only protects workpieces, but also effectively protects the user's hands from injury

System of possibilities

A comprehensive accessory system is available for the TSC 55 KS: Guide rails, angle stops and saw tables enable precise cuts and clean processes - without any reworking. The new LM-TS/TSC light module ensures optimum visibility directly at the cutting area, even in poor lighting conditions. And the new SB/2-TSC/HKC dust collection bag enables mobile, low-dust work - even without a connected vacuum cleaner. Thanks to the opening flap, it can be emptied easily and completely. Thanks to the innovative folding mechanism, the dust bag can be transported with the appliance in the Systainer and is immediately ready for use with just one hand movement. Both new accessories will be available from March 2026 and can be easily retrofitted to all plunge-cut saws.

Lockable angle support

Lockable angle support Even when the vacuum cleaner is connected, the new lockable angled nozzle makes work easier. The user decides whether the suction hose is fixed in a desired position or rotates flexibly through 360° with your application.

Digitally networked - always in view

The battery status, motor temperature and KickbackStop function can be called up at any time via the Festool app. Of course, software updates are also possible via the app - for future-proof use.

The new TSC 55 KS cordless plunge-cut saw will be available from March 2026 - as a basic version or including a guide rail. Weighing just 3.5 kilograms, it remains handy and flexible to use - on the roof, on the ground or in the workshop. Further information at festool.com
