When compactness becomes a strength

The new ERSC 18 cordless one-handed reciprocating saw

With the new ERSC 18 one-handed cordless reciprocating saw, Festool is launching a tool that combines robustness with an exceptionally compact design. On the construction site, every move counts – and this is precisely where the ERSC 18 comes into its own: it is quick to hand, easy to handle and ready for powerful cuts in a wide variety of materials. The combination of intelligent design, ergonomic shape and the tried-and-tested Festool system logic makes it a reliable and versatile companion for professional use.

Easy to guide – fast cutting

The development was centred on a clear concept: maximum control with easy handling. The ERSC 18 sits particularly well-balanced in the hand and enables fast, intuitive work. Even in tight, awkward spaces, the saw can be guided safely and easily. The integrated LED light ensures a clear view, illuminating the cutting area and supporting reliable cuts even in poor lighting conditions. The infinitely variable throttle switch allows for highly precise work – whilst also delivering the necessary power for a wide range of applications.

Versatile when it matters

A second key feature of the machine is its remarkable versatility in a compact format. The ERSC 18 is not limited to a specific material, but handles a wide range of applications – from wood and metal to particularly hard, abrasive materials. This is made possible by the Festool range of specialised saw blades, which offers the right solution for every challenge. A special feature: the saw blade can be rotated 180 degrees, allowing cuts to be made right up to walls, ceilings or floors. Flexible saw blades are available for flush-tosurface work, further expanding the range of applications. The system is complemented by the tool-free extraction unit, which is included in the scope of delivery and helps to ensure a healthy working environment, particularly when working with highly dusty materials.

A reliable partner on every construction site

The ERSC 18 is not only versatile – above all, it is a reliable companion in the tough dayto-day reality of the construction site. Its robust construction and powerful EC-TEC motor are designed to deliver consistent performance even during intensive use. The practical scaffolding hook allows the saw to be hung up securely during short breaks, whilst the start lock prevents unwanted starts – a safety feature of great importance on hectic construction sites. Furthermore, the machine is fully integrated into the Festool 18-volt system and benefits from battery technology that combines long runtime with a compact design. The automatic start function for the dust extractor via the Bluetooth battery pack also makes working more efficient and convenient.

Weighing just 1.9 kilograms, with a stroke length of 25.4 millimetres and a variable stroke rate of up to 3,000 strokes per minute, the ERSC 18 meets the demands of modern construction site work. It combines mobility with high performance and impresses with a well-thought-out overall design that brings together all the details of a professional tool. The new ERSC 18 single-handed cordless reciprocating saw is far more than just another tool in the range: it represents a development that has been consistently designed with the needs of the trade in mind. Fast, flexible and reliable – made for projects where efficiency and straightforward handling are paramount.
