Compact, handy and always at hand

On the construction site, every centimetre often counts – and that is exactly what the KHC-S 18 is designed for. Weighing just 1.83 kg (without accessories) and featuring a particularly compact design, the combination hammer with its SDS-Plus chuck is ideal for installation work and strenuous tasks such as overhead work. The integrated LED work light ensures a clear view, even in poorly lit areas. A scaffolding hook allows the tool to be conveniently hung, for example on a ladder.

Versatile – a true all-rounder

For tradespeople, a wide range of applications is what counts most. With its function switch, the KHC-S 18 offers four modes: hammer drilling, drilling without impact, chiselling and chisel adjustment. The pneumatic hammer mechanism delivers 1.7 joules of impact energy – ideal for drilling up to Ø 12 mm in concrete and for light chiselling work, such as removing tiles or chiselling away small areas. The brushless EC-TEC motor ensures consistent performance and a long service life. This makes the KHC-S 18 a versatile tool for all trades – wherever mobility and a compact design are required.

Clean, efficient and well-designed

Low-dust working is essential for many trades – both for health reasons and to ensure precise results and a clean working environment. The KHC-S 18 can be combined with a drilling dust nozzle or a special extraction unit. Particularly practical: the extraction system also works during chiselling. When used with a Bluetooth®battery pack, the combi hammer communicates directly with Festool mobile extraction units. When the tool is switched on, the extractor starts automatically – a noticeable gain in convenience and efficiency in everyday construction site work. Additional safety is provided by the electronic KickbackStop, which prevents the tool from suddenly twisting if the drill bit jams, thereby significantly reducing the risk of wrist injuries.

A combination hammer designed for the essentials

The KHC-S 18 succeeds the well-known BHC 18 and expands on its design with a chiselling function and KickbackStop. Festool is thus living up to its commitment to developing compact cordless tools that deliver ideal performance despite their small size.

The cordless combi hammer will be available from 7 September 2026 in two versions. For optimum performance, Festool recommends the new Tabless TBX 4 battery pack. Further information at festool.co.uk
