With the launch of the new PSC-E 18 cordless pendulum jigsaw and several new system and accessory innovations, Festool is once again strengthening its position as a specialist in professional sawing solutions. This new addition complements a sawing system that now covers an impressive range: from various precise plunge saws and the mobile Systainer table saw CSC SYS 50 to various jigsaws, mitre saws and the corded table saw TKS 80 for woodworking and interior finishing. Together with the HK/HKC saws, the KSC 60 and SYMC 70 mitre saws, and the tried-and-tested guide rail system, this creates a diverse range of saws that appeals equally to joinery workshops, interior finishing firms and timber construction specialists.

Simple jigsaws

At the heart of the new products for April is the new PSC-E 18, a particularly lightweight, compact cordless pendulum jigsaw specifically designed for assembly and fitting work. Its development follows three clear guiding principles: it fits exceptionally well in the hand, it is particularly easy to operate, and it delivers exactly the battery power that professional users need in their day-to-day work. Weighing just 2.3 kilograms including the battery pack and featuring an ergonomically slim design, it enables precise, balanced and fatigue-free working, even over extended periods. The non-slip soft-grip surface ensures a secure hold, whilst the triple blade guide guarantees particularly stable blade guidance and angle-accurate cuts in materials up to 40 millimetres thick. The fixed 90-degree table allows for immediate, precise sawing without the need for adjustment – a significant advantage on the construction site and during assembly work. The 23-millimetre stroke, multi-stage pendulum stroke adjustment and smooth automatic start-up control ensure fast, material-appropriate working. The tool-free, one-handed saw blade change significantly increases flexibility in varying application scenarios. At the same time, the blow function keeps the kerf clear. A mobile dust extraction unit can also be connected for low-dust working. A plastic base plate protects sensitive surfaces, whilst the clip-on splinter guard ensures tear-free cuts and reduces the need for reworking. Complemented by the new TBX 4 battery pack with innovative tabless cell technology, the PSC-E 18 combines high performance with low weight and a highly efficient power supply.

Unique range of saws

With the launch of the PSC-E 18, Festool’s sawing system is expanding: The tried-and tested plunge saws TS 55 F, TSC 55 K, TSC 55 KS and TS 60 K, as well as the scoring plunge saw TSV 60 K, continue to form the core of the range for precise, low-splinter cuts in interior finishing and assembly. The HK/HKC 55 and 60 are available for high performance rip and cross-cutting, whilst the KSC 60 and SYMC 70 mitre saws enable millimetre-precise cutting to length and trimming, even of large cross-sections. In the field of table saws, Festool covers both mobile and stationary applications: The CSC SYS 50 offers maximum precision in a compact Systainer format for assembly and mobile interior finishing, whilst the TKS 80 is a powerful corded table saw designed for safe, precise and high-performance workshop tasks – particularly for joiners, timber construction and finishing trades requiring a reliable stationary solution.

The right blade for every task

An essential component of the Festool sawing system is the diverse range of saw blades, which Festool has developed from the ground up to meet professional requirements. The selection ranges from universal standard blades to special blades for solid wood, coated Festool-System-Sawing-0326-EN.docx materials or non-ferrous metals, right through to particularly durable diamond blades such as the new DIA LAMINATE/HPL, which impresses with a service life up to 15 times longer and was developed specifically for abrasive materials such as laminate, HPL, CPL, fibre cement and mineral boards. To ensure quick identification, Festool uses a clear colour-coding system that allows users to see at a glance which saw blade is suitable for which material. This enables tools to be configured more quickly and ensures incorrect use is reliably avoided – a decisive advantage for efficiency and quality in everyday work.

Smart additions for even more precise cuts

At the same time, Festool is expanding its range of accessories with solutions designed to enhance precision. The new FS-EP plunge position indicator precisely displays the entry and exit points of the saw blade, thereby facilitating precise cut-outs without time consuming alignment. Thanks to its symmetrical design, it can be positioned on either the right or left side of the guide rail, which is particularly advantageous for applications close to walls. The integrated cut width indicator also aids in the clean marking of narrow strips. The expansion of the system is rounded off by the new FS holder HA-FS/2. It provides a secure, protected place on the wall for all guide rails between 800 and 5000 millimetres, keeps the workshop tidy and ensures that rails are always quickly accessible and stored optimally. With these new products, Festool is consistently pursuing its system philosophy: the interplay of powerful machines, precisely matched accessories, well-thought-out organisation and a robust 18-volt power system creates a harmonious overall ecosystem for precise, efficient and reliable sawing. All new products will be available from specialist retailers from 7 April 2026. Further information at festool.co.uk
