The Festool App offers numerous functions that help craftspeople to optimise the use of their tools and keep them up to always date.

• Set tool: Individual customisation for different applications enables optimum support in everyday work.
• Software update: Regular updates keep the tool up-to-date and allow it to benefit from new functions and optimisations.
• Promotions and new products: Receive important information on limited editions, new products and promotions via push notification directly via the App.
• Suitable accessories: Whether abrasives, saw blades or dust bags - the suitable accessories for each tool are displayed.
• Festool Service: Register tools for the all-inclusive warranty and order repairs easily via the MyFestool account.
• Last contact: Display the last known location of the tool so that it can be found again at any time.

Additional functions with the App

Festool is also setting new standards in tool control, as the Festool app allows almost all 18V Festool products to be customised and offers numerous product-specific functions. For example, the angle and height of the saw blade of the digital table saw CSC SYS can be adjusted in seconds or a cordless drill can be switched effortlessly for left-handers. In addition, the device's LED light can be individually adjusted to ensure optimum visibility. Other products such as random orbital sanders and long-reach sanders also benefit from this light function, as the light can be dimmed continuously to check the surface again after sanding. Particularly noteworthy is the support for the ExoActive exoskeleton, which, thanks to the App, has four working modes to choose from in order to provide targeted support for asymmetrical work. Regular software updates allow functions to be continuously improved and expanded so that the tools are always up to date and can be used even more efficiently.
