The ETS EC 125 underpins the technical advances of Festool in eccentric sanders. Festool has taken the world of sanding by storm ever since 1951 with its innovative sanders. Festool is now continuing the trend towards ergonomic products designed with the health of the user in mind with its new ETS EC compact class. From the very first touch, it is clear that everything fits perfectly. Its compact design is particularly noticeable when performing delicate sanding tasks on surfaces large and small and on smaller objects, curves and edges.
EC-TEC on board
Thanks to their powerful EC-TEC motor technology, the two new sanders have a more compact and lightweight design than sanders with standard motors and carbon brushes, making them ideal for vertical surfaces and overhead work. The ETS EC class is wear-free thanks to its brushless motor, which eliminates the annoying need to replace carbon brushes.
The two ETS EC 125/3 and ETS EC 150/3 variants, featuring a 3 mm sanding stroke, are suited for fine and extra-fine sanding work. For light sanding and intermediate sanding between coats of paint, Festool recommends the ETS EC 150/5, which has a 5 mm sanding stroke. Festool has come up with a number of innovations for protecting the health of its users, such as the new "Vibration Control System", the extraction detection system, the patented sanding pad brake and the new smooth suction hose. Like other Festool products, the new ETS EC sanders have suitable accessories and specially designed abrasives. The unique SERVICE all-inclusive package is already included when purchasing and registering the new ETS EC sanders. The new ETS EC 125 is available at retailers from September 2015.
