The KHC 18 offers a wide range of functions, thanks to tool-free chuck replacement. Hammer drills, drill bits and chisels are picked up with the SDS-Plus chuck. The keyless chuck additionally extends the range of possible insertion tools to include, for example, drills with a cylindrical shank, or drills, bits and bit holders with a hex shank.
The brushless EC-TEC motor is wear-free and converts the energy from the battery into optimum power with virtually no losses.
Simply combine the KHC 18 with the sophisticated dust extraction device (available as an accessory) and benefit from the entire Festool extraction system. The dust extraction device is simply fixed to the depth stop and connected with the extractor. Bluetooth® battery packs communicate with the Bluetooth® module on the CLEANTEC mobile dust extractor (can be retrofitted as an accessory for CT 26/36/48) and automatically start the mobile dust extractor when the cordless tool is switched on.
The electronic KickbackStop prevents your wrist from twisting dangerously if the drill suddenly becomes caught or jammed, therefore ensuring improved safety when working.
The vibration damper absorbs and eliminates energy before it can be transferred to the hands of the user. The combination with an ergonomic handle provides additional support for powerful applications.
Simply mount the depth stop on the auxiliary handle and adjust it without tools.
The innovative SDS hammer drills (optionally available) enable precise positioning thanks to their sharp 90° centring point. The solid carbide head ensures an extremely long service life, especially when drilling into reinforced concrete.
The integrated LED light permits precise work even in dark corners.
The safety lock prevents the machine from starting unintentionally. Fastened to the scaffold hook, the KHC rotary hammer drill is optimally protected against falling, even at airy heights.
The 5.0 Ah Bluetooth® battery packs included in the scope of delivery are compatible with all machines and chargers in the Festool 18 V range. And can be combined perfectly with the extractor remote switch-on – machine on, extractor on.
