The new generation CT 26/36/48 EI from Festool

Available from February 2025

Robust, flexible and powerful – the new CT 26, 36 and 48 EI mobile dust extractors are true all-rounders. Festool has incorporated touch operation for intuitive control. With the built-in Bluetooth® interface, the extractors can be automatically using a cordless tool or remote control and can also be linked to the Festool app. Other practical features make it even more convenient to use every day. The AUTOCLEAN (AC) models deliver with more effective, automatic filter cleaning.
Festool is making a valuable addition to its range of mobile dust extractors from February 2025 – in the shape of the new generation CT 26/36/48 EI. The new extractors are now simple to control via intuitive touch operation. This means that the extractors are easy to operate, even when wearing gloves or in a dirty environment.

With Bluetooth® as standard: Clever solutions for networked working

With the new generation CT 26/36/48 EI, there will be a built-in Bluetooth® interface that offers even more options for everyday tasks. The extractor is set to automatic mode as soon as it is switched on. This clever feature automatically switches on the extractor using Festool cordless power tools – via the battery pack or optional remote control. Conclusion: For added convenience at work, users don't have to walk back and forth to the extractor to switch it on and off. Thanks to the Bluetooth® interface, the extractor can also be connected to the Festool app, where users can find tips, for example, if the extractor shows a warning message.

Robust and flexible whether on the construction site or in the workshop

The large, swivelling castors make the extractor a flexible and mobile option – whether working on construction sites or in the workshop. The integrated locking brake can be used to keep the extractor in place. Thanks to its robust design, the extractor will have a useful life of many years. The models with AUTOCLEAN – or AC function as it's also known – are particularly effective. The technically advanced AC function automatically cleans the main filter to ensure the suction power is always high and work intervals are always long. For added convenience, cleaning intervals can be set to 15, 30, 60 or 120 seconds via the app. A full clean is also possible if the filter is heavily clogged.

A universal helper in the system

Festool has once again thought of lots of new details for the new generation, such as the smooth, anti-static suction hose, which is stored in the integrated hose holder to save space and protect it during transport. Festool has designed its suction hose to be smooth in order to ensure seamless operation without snagging. It glides over every edge while its conical geometry increases suction power. Another great detail is the bayonet socket: It creates a secure connection between the suction hose and the Festool power tool. The tried-and-tested T-LOC makes it quick and easy to connect the extractor to other system products, such as Systainer, pre-separator or Workcenter. The filter bag is free to unfold because of the flat filter and the smooth inner contours of the container. This allows the bag to be filled uniformly and to achieve virtually 100-percent utilisation of the filter bag volume.

Laying floors without leaving a trace

The wheel covers, which are available as accessories, protect delicate flooring from marks and scratches. This means the extractor's wheels no longer leave any traces on the new parquet or other delicate floor coverings. The wheel covers are made from a non-abrasive, washable and robust textile. They can quickly be pulled on over all of the wheels without impacting the manoeuvrability of the dust extractor. Festool is also introducing a special model for floor layers: CT 26 FLR. This floor version includes not only wheel covers but also shoe covers and a non-abrasive PUR power cable.

Two new modules for even more convenience in everyday working life

The new SD I-CT 26-48 socket module provides an additional socket on the extractor so you can easily switch from the auto-start function to continuous power. This means, for example, that a charger can easily be plugged in to charge battery packs – without starting up the extractor. The module can be used to connect two tools, which saves users from having to keep plugging them in and unplugging them. The new DL I-CT 26-48 compressed air module allows the extractor to be retrofitted so that compressed air tools and power tools can be connected. The new module does of course also feature an automatic on and off function, so that the extractor starts automatically as soon as the compressed-air sander is started. The compressed-air module can be installed on the extractor itself so that the suction hose and compressed-air supply can be guided in one direction. This ensures additional safety when working. Both modules can quickly be installed and disassembled using a retainer on the extractor.

The suction power on all variants of the CT 26/36/48 EI can be adjusted over five levels – to suit the application. The compact high-performance turbine provides impressively high suction power at all times.

Conclusion: The Festool extractors give a huge boost to the extractor range with new and improved features and new accessory solutions. Further information about the new extractors is available from specialist retailers or at festool.co.uk
